Aaron has always had a love for the outdoors, especially fly fishing. He took up fly fishing at age 14 and has fueled that passion ever since. His favorite place to fish is Southeast Idaho, but also loves casting for Tarpon in the Gulf of Mexico.

Fly fishing is a lifestyle! And it is a lifestyle I was lucky enough to be introduced to as a  young kid. I have spent most of my fly fishing life learning the waters of the South Fork of the Boise and the Owyhee Rivers. I have a special place for these two rivers, as would anyone who is lucky enough to grow up on these rivers would. I have spent my last two years living in Victor Idaho were I managed Premier Fly Fishing Fly Shop for Royce Klingler. The experience was both memorable and educational.

Justin Wells grew up fishing in Missouri moved to Wyoming when I was 19 and picked up a flyrod and haven't put one down since. When I turned 22 I tried my luck in owning a orvis flyshop in thermopolis Wyoming started guiding there as well. It turns out there was only room enough in the small town for one fly shop and it wasn't ours.

15 years guide experience in South Eastern Idaho. Local knowledge and Hidden Nooks of the Teton, Henrys Fork, Fall River, South Fork of the Snake and other smaller tribs are some of  the things I pride myself in.  I Enjoy rubbing shoulders with fisherman that tie their own flies, build their own boats, build their own oars etc. Fly Fishing is not a religion it is a passion, a preference, a lifestyle. Pass it on!

I have spent the majority of my life in Boise Idaho. Lucky enough to have had the chance to grow up here I naturally have found myself chasing fish on the Owhyee, SouthFork of the Boise, Boise, Silver Creek , and Big Wood Rivers. I haven't  worked in the fly fishing industry like my counter parts, however I would like to think that fishing with the caliber of anglers that I do would yield a comparable experience. I look forward to bringing the fly fishing community that we have in the state a dependable and accurate fishing report they can count on.

Although I love to fish, I spend most of my time at a computer designing websites like the Idaho Fly Fishing Report. When I do get a spare second I'm on the water - always learning. Every time I go fishing I learn that I have a lot to learn, but that is part of the excitement. Each season I feel more at home on the water casting, rowing, and sharing the fun when friends get into fish.
